The challenge
- Autobody parts distribution does not fit generic ERP templates: pricing rules, part interchangeability, cores and returns all behave differently from standard retail stock.
- Multiple physical locations needed a shared, live view of inventory and pricing.
- The business could not stop trading for a migration, so the system had to arrive in stages.
What we did
- Worked as the long-term engineering partner to Keyob and Renzym, who held the client relationship and product direction.
- Delivered the ERP module by module — inventory, purchasing, sales and invoicing — so each went live and proved itself before the next began.
- Modelled the parts catalogue, interchange and pricing rules around how the business actually quotes and sells, rather than forcing a standard schema.
- Established a support process covering incident response, enhancement requests and scheduled releases.
Where it stands
- In continuous production use since 2020 — 6 years and counting.
- Operates across multiple US branch locations on one shared system of record.
- Still under active development, with new capability added on a regular release cycle.
- A support relationship that has been renewed year after year.
